Finding the roots of my passion

A part of this project of mine is to try and regain that spark I had as a kid. Even something as simple as playing a major triad once gave me goosebumps. In fact I can still remember the very first time I was one of three trumpet players playing a 3 note chord. I was 8 and I could barely keep my lips in the right position to hold the note.
I took this photo at a bric-a-brac market we visited today. It happens to be the very same toy organ that I had as a young child. Santa gave it to me. I can remember it’s sound, and even it’s electric fan smell. Not unlike the sound of a melodica actually.
Stumbling over this affected me quite lot. It felt significant. I guess the universe is beginning to swing my way. It’s just a little nudge to remind me about the origins of my love of music.
