Well January is almost over already, and I have neglected to wish everyone a Happy New Year It promises to be a great year at Paxus Productions.Already we have had a successful season of "The Balinese Princess & The Funky Monkey". Based on it's popularity we are going to take it on the road later in the year, so stay tuned for further news on that front.Backing tracks are continuing to be very popular, and I haven't stopped getting requests over the Christmas break. In the next few weeks, I will be adding many more quality backing tracks to the catalog.Just a reminder to anybody wishing to commission a backing track, please give me as much notice as possible. Often I can book the studio quite soon, but sometimes I can be snowed in with requests and end up booked weeks in advance. Given that most of my clients need a track for a specific event on a specific date, I urge you to contact me the moment you know what you need, so I have a greater chance of being able to produce your music in time.There also seems to be an increase in recording services this year. My production suite is great for recording soloists of all kinds, but I have enjoyed the recent projects which involved simulating a large ensemble using individually recorded singers. The results were astounding, and I'm very proud of the tracks.So I hope you all are enjoying any time off you may get before this year kicks into high gear.
